Their KYC process was painless which I appreciated. But then I noticed the fees are higher than I expected, especially on larger amounts. Disappointing overall.

The fees are fair but everything else isn't

Decided to try this exchange after someone mentioned their rates were pretty competitive for conversions between major coins. I started with a test transaction - swapped 1 ETH for USDT and the rate was actually solid, probably 0.6% better than what I'd get through other platforms. Execution was fast and there were no technical glitches. So the core product is good. The experience soured fast when I tried to do a larger transaction. Suddenly they required full verification even though I'd done similar amounts elsewhere without issue. The verification process was extensive and invasive - they wanted ID, address proof, employment verification, and a video call. The video call was particularly annoying because they asked intrusive questions about my financial situation and investment background. After submitting everything they rejected my first attempt saying my documents 'weren't clear enough.' Second round took another week. Support was useless throughout this whole thing - responses came after 2-3 days and were often generic templates that didn't address my specific situation. Even after I got verified they kept flagging my account for additional compliance reviews. The rates might be good but the customer treatment is terrible.

Why do rates swing so much day to day for the same trading pairs? Is that normal? Maybe, but it makes me uncomfortable. The actual process is smooth though.

Functions okay but irritatingly inconsistent fees

I've been trading on this exchange for about 5 months now, roughly 17 transactions spread across different crypto pairs. bitcoin to Ethereum, some stablecoin swaps, a few altcoins. nothing crazy, just regular portfolio rebalancing across a total volume of maybe $14,000.

what's worked reasonably well: the platform is user-friendly and intuitive. i could figure out how to do my first swap without much guidance. deposits process quickly, usually within an hour. i've never had a security issue or lost funds to hacking. customer support does exist and has eventually answered my questions, though slowly.

what's been frustrating: the fee structure is opaque and seems to shift. on some swaps I pay what feels like fair fees. on others, the spread between the quote and actual execution is surprisingly large-like $150 to $200 disappearing on a $3,000 transaction for no clear reason.

example: I swapped $3,500 Ethereum to Bitcoin. the preview told me I'd get approximately 0.92 BTC. i actually received 0.88 BTC. that's roughly 4.3% missing, and when I calculated it against their stated fee (which was 1%), it doesn't add up. support's response was technical jargon about slippage that didn't actually explain the discrepancy.

withdrawal times are unpredictable-I've waited anywhere from 2 hours to 20 hours for the same action.

overall: it works, features are there, but using it feels like you're constantly being nickeled-and-dimed in ways you can't quite quantify. frustrating, but not enough to make me quit using it entirely.
