Withdrawal disappeared

Withdrew 2 BTC. Got the withdrawal confirmation. Balance went to zero. Checked my wallet 48 hours later - nothing. Sent 5 support emails - no responses. My BTC vanished.

Refund stuck $2950 gone

$2950 refund 8/28. promised immediate processing. by day 4 nothing arrived. contacted support 23 times in 118 days. they stopped responding by week 1. balance is zero now. completely stolen by exchange.

i tried this exchange specifically because i saw benchmarks showing their spreads on major trading pairs were among the best available. i started with a test deposit of about 1500 USDC and converted it to Bitcoin - got a rate that was solid, maybe 0.45% better than my baseline comparisons. the platform is responsive, execution is fast, the core service works as advertised. the problem is the gatekeeping around account access. they require extremely detailed verification - ID, passport, address proof, employment verification, and a video call component. the video call was the worst part because they asked intrusive questions about my job, my income level, and where my money came from. i felt like i was applying for a mortgage not trying to trade cryptocurrencies. after submitting everything they rejected it saying the document quality wasn't sufficient. i resubmitted with even higher resolution images and it still took another two weeks. support is nonresponsive - i submitted multiple tickets during this process asking for clarification and got responses after 3-4 days that were generic copy-paste responses. i also got randomly flagged for additional compliance reviews even after being verified which led to withdrawal restrictions. the rates are genuinely good enough that i keep some capital here but i tell everyone i know to avoid them because the user experience is hostile.

Decent rates but the KYC nightmare

i really wanted to like this exchange because their conversion rates on btc to eth were actually pretty good - like 0.5% better than what i usually see elsewhere. so i decided to try it with a small 2 btc trade to test things out. the process started smooth enough, prices were live, and the swap executed in maybe 20 seconds total which was great. but then they asked for identity verification even though i was just doing a small spot trade. i uploaded my passport scan and selfie like they wanted, and then... nothing for 3 weeks. no email updates, no status indicator on their platform. i sent support tickets twice and got an automated response both times. when someone finally got back to me on day 21, they rejected my selfie saying the lighting was bad. so i had to redo the whole thing. this time it only took 5 days. meanwhile the market moved and the rates i was quoted originally had shifted. so yeah the exchange itself works and the rates ARE competitive, but the verification process added so much friction that any savings got eaten up by timing delays and the hassle factor. it's decent but not worth the aggravation.
